Petroleum Specialities FZE (PSF), a 100% subsidiary of APAR Industries Ltd., established in 2015, in the Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, U.A.E.
PSF operates a cutting-edge Speciality Oils manufacturing facility which specialises in producing Uninhibited, Trace Inhibited & Inhibited Transformer Oils, as well as various grades of White and Pharmaceutical Oils.
Our 30,000 sq. meters plot hosts a highly automated plant, meeting the stringent standards of IEC: 60296 – 2020 (Edition 5) and ASTM D 3487.
With a tank farm comprising 38 tanks and a storage capacity of 23,000 KL, our plant vaunts an annual production capacity of approximately 120,000 KL. Raw materials are efficiently sourced directly from the Hamriyah Free Zone jetty, ensuring seamless operations.
Our product distribution includes Bulk Tanker Sales, Flexi Bags, ISO Tanks and Drum Shipments, facilitated by a versatile jetty pipeline allowing bidirectional usage. Utilising groundbreaking German technology, all our pipelines are fully peggable, maintaining a remarkable 99.98% purity for each grade. The entire manufacturing process is controlled by a SCADA system, ensuring precision from blending in tanks to the filling of finished products.
As the leading Transformer oil manufacturer in the region, PSF prioritizes quality with an investment exceeding two million dollars in its laboratory. Equipped with cutting-edge testing equipment, the facility adheres to the highest standards, conducting tests such as Oxygen Stability, Tan Delta, IFT, Breakdown voltage, among others.

APAR’s POWEROIL range of speciality oils encompasses 350-grade oils, with transformer oils, including naphthenic and iso–paraffinic grades conforming to all major international standards. The brand also covers a range of customised grades of white oils, petroleum jelly, process oils, industrial lubricants and automotive lubricants. POWEROIL is trusted by major OEMs, utilities, power generation, transmission and distribution companies for Transformer Oils.
Currently serving the Middle East and Africa, PSF focuses on key markets in the GCC, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, as well as strategic regions in Africa. Our transformer oil brand, POWEROIL, is prequalified in renowned institutions like SEWA, ADWEA, and OETC. In FY23, PSF achieved significant milestones, exporting over 58,000 drums to 20 countries in the MEA region, reinforcing our commitment to excellence built over five decades.

The facilities are accredited with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OSHAS 45001:2018, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & DSIR. POWEROIL® range of products is manufactured at APAR Industries, two state-of-the-art manufacturing units in India & one in the Hamriyah free zone (Sharjah, UAE). The combined capacity of these facilities is 520,000 KL. The facilities are accredited with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OSHAS 45001:2018, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & DSIR. The company also owns blending units in Australia, South Africa & Turkey.
